Thoughts so many a day
Some so negative I have to pray

Please go away thoughts of doom
You are not wanted so full of gloom

Do this don’t do that they say
Painting a picture of me that is so gray

Until I learned the power I possess
To let the thoughts go by and reduce my stress

Lessons so many lessons they bring
My first reaction is to run not to sing

Listen for the message as they pass by
Not all are welcome some are a lie

Choose the ones that empower your soul
Or they will begin to take their toll

On your body spirit and mind
You have the power to be kind

Give yourself that love you deserve
And the magic of living you will observe

So fear not that thought so mean
Let it float by like a leaf on a stream
